Manà is a very common word in the ocean languages and it is related to the idea of positive feelings such as respect and energy and, in his widest meaning, it means “positive energy”. It is the name given to the mascot of the city of Numana that appeared for the very first time on 7th December 2013 at Santuario square. It recalls the features of the loggerhead sea turtle but it is “humanised”: it gives smiles and gifts to the audience and it attends both institutional and playful events.
